Review of free virus remover::How to Remove Virus Trojan Horse

Have               you               recently               picked               up               some               new               software               called               XP               Security               Center               that               won't               leave               you               alone?

Don't               fall               for               its               warnings               that               your               computer               is               infected:               XP               Security               Center               is               what               infected               it!

In               this               article,               here               are               the               instructions               and               links               to               free               tools               for               how               to               remove               XP               Security               Center,               and               all               the               steps               won't               cost               you               a               dime.

I               removed               it               myself               in               this               exact               way.

XP               Security               Center               is               a               vicious               virus               that               seems               to               appear               out               of               nowhere.

It               tends               to               come               with               virus-infected               downloads               and               it               embeds               itself               with               a               trojan               horse.

The               program               looks               legitimate               like               it               was               created               by               Microsoft,               but               it               by               far               is               not.
In               actuality,               XP               Security               Center               is               a               malware               virus               that               won't               leave               you               alone               until               you               fall               for               their               trap               of               purchasing               their               product               (they               call               it               paying               a               registration               fee).

It               is               not               spyware,               but               more               like               a               hostage-taker               of               your               computer.
It               gets               in               by               installing               itself               behind               your               back.

All               of               a               sudden,               you               will               have               your               computer               restart               and               it               will               fully               implant               itself               into               your               PC.

This               malware               will               then               repeatedly               warn               you               your               computer               is               infected.
               Ack!

What               to               do?
First               off,               pick               up               a               spyware               remover.

I               found               the               MalwareBytes               malware               remover               to               do               the               trick.

I               also               ran               Lavasoft's               Ad               Aware               (it's               free)               afterward               to               ensure               everything               was               cleaned               up.
The               free               MalwareBytes               tool,               which               I               found               came               with               effective               instructions,               can               be               downloaded               at               this               link.
Second,               after               running               these               tools               and               having               them               get               rid               of               the               nasties,               restart               your               computer               a               couple               times.
XP               Security               Center               will               embed               itself               into               your               Windows               registry               --               basically               rooting               itself               --               so               it               can               repair               itself               if               you               delete               any               of               its               components.

Use               a               registry               cleaner               like               HiJackThis!

to               get               rid               of               it.

It               took               a               couple               good               computer               restarts               and               running               HiJack               This!

multiple               times               to               yank               it               out               of               place               in               my               case.

You               can               delete               XP               Security               Center's               registry               yourself,               but               only               experts               should               mess               with               their               Windows               registry               manually.

You               can               seriously               damage               your               system's               ability               to               run               Windows               otherwise.
Then,               back               up               your               computer's               defensive               strength               by               downloading               a               program               like               MalwareBytes'               anti-malware               software               to               prevent               it               from               coming               back.
Unfortunately,               XP               Security               Center               is               a               pain               to               deal               with               and               one               of               the               more               corrupt               programs               out               there               that               someone               might               encounter.

Thankfully,               there               are               ways               to               easily               disable               it               with               the               right               free               tools.
Best               of               luck               on               keeping               your               computer               smoothly               running.
